Hearts For Sight went to the Whittier Narrows Nature Center in July. Nature Socials provide relaxed outdoor opportunities for the BVI community at locations around Los Angeles County.
We had a big turnout – 50 people in all. The Center’s staff was very accommodating and provided interesting nature lore. The group took a short walk on an adjoining path. It was hot but we had plenty of shade from the oaks and sycamore trees.
