Join Hearts For Sight and Sierra Club for a Refreshing Hike at Griffith Park Travel Town!

Hearts For Sight (HFS) and Sierra Club cordially invite you to embark on another invigorating and accessible hike at Griffith Park Travel Town. This route leads you along smooth, wide paved roads through the tranquil northern reaches of Griffith Park, offering a gentle incline ideal for leisurely strolls at your own pace.

During our 90-minute ascent, we may split into regular and more adventurous groups, reuniting on our descent. With options ranging from a 5-mile trek with 600 feet of elevation gain to a shorter 1.5-mile jaunt with 225 feet of gain, there’s a trail suited for everyone.

• Check-in at 8:30 AM
• Trailhead Talk: Starts at 8:45 AM; Hike commences at 9:00 AM
• Route: Smooth, wide paved roads through northern Griffith Park
• Trail Stats: Options include a 5-mile hike with 600 ft gain or a 1.5-mile hike with 225 ft gain
• Terrain: Gentle grade, suitable for all walking paces

Upon our return to the museum around 1:00 PM, a delightful lunch will be provided, allowing an hour for dining. Access Services pickups should be scheduled no earlier than 1:00 PM (if you’re not joining lunch) and no later than 3:00 PM.

Please note: In the event of heavy rain forecasted for March, the hike will be canceled.
