Join Hearts For Sight and the Sierra Club on another exhilarating journey through the captivating landscapes of Will Rogers State Historic Park. Delve into the park’s rich history and serene ambiance while immersing yourself in the breathtaking vistas of the 2-mile Inspiration Point Loop. Experience nature’s embrace as you wander along wide, well-kept trails and uncover hidden gems amidst the lush lawns and charming polo fields. Lace up, hydrate, and join us for an unforgettable adventure, where every step is a moment to cherish.

Hiking Details:

• Check-in at 9:00 AM
• Trailhead Talk: Starts at 9:15 AM; Hike begins at 9:30 AM
• Trail Length: The loop is approximately 2.4 miles long.
• Difficulty Level: It’s rated as moderate, suitable for most hikers.
• Elevation Gain: The elevation gain is around 400 feet.
• Trail Type: It’s a loop trail, so we will start and end at the same point.
• Scenery: The trail offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, the Los Angeles skyline, and the surrounding mountain ranges. You’ll also pass through shaded areas of oak and sycamore trees.

Please Note:

In the event of unexpected heavy rain on the day of the hike, the event will be canceled. Announcements will be sent via text and email.

We are actively seeking volunteers to serve as sighted guides. If you’re interested in volunteering or know someone who might be, please direct them to click “I want to volunteer” in the RSVP section below. Our Hearts For Sight staff will follow up with further details.
