DESCRIPTION:Experience a Beautiful Saturday Morning Hike with Hearts For Sight at Kenneth Hahn State Park\nDate: Saturday\, April 19\, 2025 \nMeeting Time: 8:30 AM(DMH program participants: additional information will be shared with you in a separate message) \nMeeting Location: Stoneview Nature Center\, 5950 Stoneview Dr.\, Culver City\, CA 90232 \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Hearts For Sight (HFS) and Sierra Club invites you to join us for a refreshing and enjoyable hike at the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area (KHSRA) in Baldwin Hills. We’ll gather at Stoneview Nature Center\, cross La Cienega on a newly built steel bridge\, and embark on an exciting 4.5-mile tour through the park. The trail offers a mix of inclines\, with a 400-foot elevation gain\, mainly on paved and cement paths\, making it accessible for all fitness levels. There are benches and plenty of places to pause along the way. However\, it might be a bit challenging for those with knee issues or difficulty walking on rougher terrain. \nDetails:\n\nCheck-in: 8:30 AM\nTrailhead Talk: 9:00 AM\nRoute: Stoneview Nature Center → Steel bridge → Around Kenneth Hahn State Park → Return to Nature Center\nTrail Stats: 4.5 miles\, 400 feet of elevation gain\nTerrain: Paved\, dirt\, and gravel paths with some hills; benches for resting\nSnacks and Light Lunch: Provided\n\nRestrooms: Available at Stoneview Nature Center. \nSchedule: We plan to finish around 2:30 PM\, with a fun Easter egg hunt included. Please schedule Access Services pickups by 2:30 PM\, no later than 3:30 PM if possible. If you encounter any issues with the suggested pickup time\, call Racquel at 818-457-1482 for assistance. \nSighted Guides Needed!\nWe’re looking for amazing volunteers to assist visually impaired participants (VIPs) and help them enjoy the outdoors with confidence!No experience?
