Steeped in history\, this region was once home to the Chumash/Tongva Indigenous people\, later inhabited by Spanish missionaries\, Spanish ranchers\, and early American ranchers. Today\, it belongs to the State of California\, inviting everyone to savor its natural beauty. Our hike will span approximately 3-4 miles\, providing ample opportunities to soak in the scenery before pausing at benches for a well-deserved lunch\, fostering camaraderie. While the initial ascent and descent present a hill climbing that could pose a challenge\, particularly for individuals with knee or foot concerns. The descent down this hill will also require caution.
