DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a Beautiful Sunday Morning Hike with Hearts For Sight at Kenneth Hahn State Park \nDate: Sunday\, February 18\, 2024 \nMeeting Time: 8:30 AM (Arriving a few minutes before 8:30 is recommended.) \nMeeting Location: Stoneview Nature Center5950 Stoneview Dr.\, Culver City\, CA 90232 \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Hearts For Sight invites you to join us on our second hiking trip of the year\, 2024\, at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area (KHSRA) in Baldwin Hills. We will convene at Stoneview Nature Center\, traverse La Cienega on a new steel bridge\, and embark on a scenic tour around the park. The entire hike will cover approximately 4.5 miles\, with an elevation gain of about 400 feet\, mostly on one extended hill. The trail predominantly consists of paved and cemented paths\, offering charming spots to rest along the way. While this hike is suitable for individuals of any fitness level\, it may pose a challenge for those with bad knees or difficulty walking on dirt or gravelly paths. \nDetails:\nCheck-in at 8:30 AMTrailhead Talk: Start at 9:00 AMRoute: Stoneview Nature Center\, crossing the steel bridge\, and walking around Kenneth Hahn State Park with a few up-and-down hills\, returning to the nature centerTrail Stats: 4.5 miles\, 400 feet of gainTerrain: Dirt\, gravelly path\, paved up-and-downhill trails with benches along the waySnacks and light lunch: Provided \nStoneview’s bathrooms are open to the public\, and there are comfortable seating areas available. We aim to conclude our adventure between 1:00 and 1:30 PM. Schedule your Access Services pickups between 2:00 PM\, no later than 2:30 PM.
