We’re heading back to one of our favorite spots—Ernest E. Debs Regional Park! Nestled in Montecito Heights near Highland Park\, Debs Park is a hidden oasis in the heart of Northeast LA\, offering a mix of scenic trails\, peaceful picnic spots\, and breathtaking views of the city skyline. \nWhat to Expect:\nOur carefully planned route features:✅ A secluded urban trail leading to a flat\, accessible picnic area with paved walkways.✅ A short but energizing climb to a stunning overlook with views of Peanut Lake\, Boundary Peak\, and historic Los Angeles. \nChoose Your Adventure:Full Hike: ~3 miles round trip | 500-foot elevation gain.Shorter Option: ~1.5 miles | 100-foot elevation gain.For those with knee or mobility concerns\, you’re welcome to relax at the picnic area while the group completes the hike. \nWeather Note:In the event of rain\, the hike will be canceled\, and all registered participants will be notified.\nLunch Provided – RSVP Required!To help us plan\, final RSVPs must be submitted by Wednesday\, March 12.
