🌿🎉 Hearts For Sight and the Sierra Club invite you to start the New Year off with a gentle hike on the southwestern side of Griffith Park, featuring Cedar Grove and the Vista Del Valle Heliport.
Enjoy wide, paved paths, gentle slopes, and plenty of benches for a safe and relaxing outdoor experience.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, January 18, 2026
- ⏰ Check-in at 8:30 AM at Franklin Café, 2650 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles , CA 90027
- Trail Stats: 3 miles with 400 feet of gain with wide, paved trails with gentle slopes and resting spots
- 🥪 1:00 PM: Hike wraps up, followed by lunch provided by Hearts For Sight. Must RSVP by Thursday, January 15, no later than 6:00 PM to help us with accurate food count.
- ✅ Wrap-up by 2:00 PM
- ⏱️🚗 Please schedule your Access Services pickups around 2:00 PM. (No later than 2:30–2:45 PM)
Calling All Sighted Guides:
- Our hikes rely on the generosity and teamwork of our sighted guides.
- No guiding experience needed—just a willingness to help and share the trail.
- If this will be your first time guiding, please call Racquel at 818-457-1482 for a brief training session prior to the event.
