Coastal Outing / Hike and Eco-program

VIPs (visually impaired persons) and their families can immerse themselves in community science programs which leverage their knowledge and abilities and use them to empower the learner to directly contribute to the conservation and protection of Crystal Cove State Park, as well as natural areas in their own communities. VIPs will have opportunities to combined mobility training and sensory awareness with explorations of the park’s beaches, backcountry, and Historic District, all while integrating scientific topics like oceanography and ecology.
