Did you know that surfing can be adapted to cater to people with various physical capabilities? Hearts For Sight (HFS) is teaming up for the second time with Rocky McKinnon, a renowned pro surfer and the owner of McKinnon Surf & SUP, to make surfing accessible for our blind and visually impaired community.

Join us for this exclusive event, whether you’re a first-time surfer or never thought you’d step on a board. HFS and McKinnon Surf & SUP invite you to experience the joy of surfing. Rest assured, anyone eager to get on the board will have the opportunity to do so with Rocky’s specially designed adapted boards.

Time: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

About our partner: McKinnon Surf & SUP Lessons offers top-notch surf and stand-up paddle board lessons, leveraging professional surfing and paddling expertise and high-quality equipment for a successful and enjoyable experience. Founded by Professional Surfer/Shaper Rocky McKinnon, the team ensures participants have ergonomically correct equipment suited to their body type and skill level, guided by a professional and proficient team.

This FREE event, sponsored by Hearts For Sight and McKinnon Surf & SUP, can accommodate a maximum of 20 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis.

HFS will arrange transportation by bus to Huntington Beach, where the lessons will take place. Lunch will be provided during the event.
